Legend Saravana is making his acting debut through the film 'Legend' and it now looks like the film is getting bigger day by day. 'Mankatha' star Rai Lakshmi who is known for stealing the hearts of many in her films has shaken a leg for a folk Kuthu song in this much-anticipated film.

Reliable sources revealed that “It’s a catchy, peppy kuthu - a traditional folk song, actually. So, the makers wanted to rope in an actress who could do justice to it and approached Laxmi. When she heard the song, she immediately said yes.”

The song was choreographed by Raju Sundaram master. “Laxmi shot for it for six days continuously and wrapped up work just four days ago. It’s a high-energy song and has some very complex footwork, but since it was a packed schedule, she didn’t have time for rehearsal. However, she has worked with Raju Sundaram master before and the comfort level she shares with his team helped them complete the shoot on time,” the source adds.

The song was composed by Harris Jayaraj. The movie, bankrolled by Saravanan's home banner has roped in Urvashi Rautela as the heroine. Rai Lakshmi also has a hand full of films in South Languages and is currently busy shooting for 'Gangster 21' in Tamil.
