Rahul Vijay is going great guns at the career front. Days after giving his consent to front Puri Jagannadh’s former associate Krishna Kishore’s debut film along with Satyadev, the actor has also agreed to propel another film on his young shoulders. It deals with campus politics and is laced with romance and action in equal proportions. Ace writer Kona Venkat’s former associate Gangadhar will be debuting as a director with the flick, which will see Rahul Vijay as a firebrand student leader who takes his opponents head-on. The film will have a period backdrop as it is inspired by real incidents. Major part of the film will be set in Vijayawada.

Meanwhile, Rahul Vijay has completed the filming of his Telugu-Tamil bilingual College Kumar. A remake of the Kannada film of the same name, original director Santhu has helmed the remake versions as well. Priya Vadlamani of Husharu fame is cast opposite him in the family drama peppered with a strong sense of humour.
