Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has said that he would be posing one question each for the next ten days to Prime Minister Narendra Modi till the polling commences in Gujarat which is to vote in two phases on 09th and 14th December.

Addressing an election meeting at Dasa in Gujarat ahead of next week’s Assembly polls, Rahl Gandh launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led Centre’s economic policies.  "Gujarat's debt stood at Rs.9,183 crores in 1995 but has risen to a whopping Rs.241000 crores which means each of the State’s citizen is burdened with Rs.37000.  Why should Gujarat face the music for mismanagement of economy and needless spending on publicity by the BJP?” he asked.

“Farmers continue to commit suicides for not being able to repay a loan of Rs.20000 or Rs.50000 where as Vijay Mallya, who owes Rs.9000 crores to the Government, hasn’t thought of committing suicide and is enjoying life in London.  Modi said he would provide employment to 2 crores people.  Let the Centre provide details about the number of beneficiaries under its employment guarantee scheme,” Rahul said.

“I hear China provides employment to 50,000 people each day but the Modi-led BJP hasn’t provided employment to this many number of persons throughout the year.  Congress won’t five false promise of giving Rs.15 lakh to each of you.  Our regime won’t be a one controlled by industrialists or corporate.  Nor it would usurp people’s lands at will.  Our Govt. would be managed the way people want it,” Rahul concluded.

As a concluding ‘punch’, Rahul added that if the Congress is voted to power in Gujarat, it would waive off all the agricultural loans taken by the farmers in the State.
