Bollywood actor Rahul Roy who became an overnight sensation with his breakthrough role in 1990 with 'Aashiqui' will soon be seen on the big screen. He will be making a special appearance in Richa Chadha's film 'Cabaret' in which he will re-create a famous pose from 'Aashiqui'.

Ace actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt recently told a media that, "We have a special song in 'Cabaret' called 'Paani Paani'. It is my first item number. Since it is a story of a girl who becomes a big superstar from being a dancer, we had to show her journey through the song. That is when we decided to call Rahul for a cameo appearance. He is playing himself in the portion, re-creating the 'Aashiqui' pose with Richa."

The movie 'Cabaret' is directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyog and produced by Pooja Bhatt. Rahul Roy has done movies like 'Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee' and 'Junoon' and not forgetting the musical-blockbuster 'Aashiqui'.
