'NET' Teaser: Woman's private life gets captured on phone

We never know who is watching us, says the teaser for 'NET', which is about the invasion of privacy in the age of rampant smart technology. Rahul Ramakrishna and Avika Gor play characters that are caught in a trap.
Talking about the premise of the OTT release, the makers say, Laxman, a married man, registers with an online surveillance agency to watch Priya, a young professional’s personal life through hidden cameras. But Laxman's actions soon land him in a complex situation. With music by Naresh Kumaran, the web film comes across as a gripping thriller.
After comedy roles in films like 'Jathi Ratnalu', the 'Arjun Reddy' actor has played a character with negative shades in 'NET'. Do his shenanigans come back to haunt him? With thrillers like this one, the viewer waits for the villain to get his comeuppance. Hope the revenge is served in the right way in the movie.
Written and directed by Bhargav Macharla, the film will stream on ZEE5 from September 10.
