In the wake of Pakistan reportedly quoting Rahul Gandhi in its petition to the United Nations with regards to Kashmir, the former President of the party has today firmly said that he and his party regards Kashmir as strictly an internal matter of India.

"I disagree with this Government on many issues. But, let me make this absolutely clear: Kashmir is India’s internal issue and there is no room for Pakistan or any other foreign country to interfere in it. There is violence in Jammu and Kashmir. There is violence because it is instigated and supported by Pakistan which is known to be the prime supporter of terrorism across the world," Rahul tweeted out.

The Congress party has criticized Pakistan for resorting to lies and deliberate misinterpretation and dragging Rahul's name.
