After a violent faceoff with Chinese troops, 20 Indian soldiers have died. This happened during a deescalation process in the Galwan Valley in the disputed Aksai Chin-Ladakh area, where a large troop build-up was being planned over the past few weeks.
The Indian army announced the death of three soldiers initially and later added that a further 17 troops were critically injured in the line of duty and having been exposed to sub-zero temperatures have succumbed to injuries. Following this unexpected and unethical move by China, congress leader Rahul Gandhi has posted a sharp question to Indian PM Narendra Modi on where he's hiding now.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted "Why is the PM silent? Why is he hiding? Enough is enough. We need to know what has happened. How dare China kill our soldiers? How dare they take our land?", and the tweet is turning viral.
