Rahul Gandhi detained over CBI protests

Rahul Gandhi on Friday courted detention after staging a much-reported protest outside the CBI headquarters in New Delhi. He and his party have been opposing the recent decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to divest CBI Director Alok Verma of his powers. Verma has been sent on leave along with Asthana, the Special Director accused of corruption.
The PM can run, he can hide but in the end, the truth will be revealed. Removing the CBI Director will not help. The PM acted against the CBI Director; it was an act out of panic, the Congress President today said.
