If you are an AR Rahman fan, you must have listened to 'Simtaangaran' from 'Sarkar' (Tamil). The single, released on Monday, has crossed 4 million views so far. It continues to trend on YouTube.

However, the mass number has disappointed many. Writes @sidhuwrites, "Rahman has experimented by composing a song that doesn't have a set structure, but neither the vocals nor the lyrics stand up. Some call it slow poison, I really hope it does for this one!"

Throwing light on the song, @shineherself says, "As much as I waited for this song, it honestly didn't satisfy me either as Vijay anna's song or a product of AR Rahman. It's not the folk I am against but this song won't be in pace with #ThalapathyVIJAY's dance and it lacks the speed of folk and enthusiasm."

To be fair to Rahman and director AR Murugadoss, the tune is apt for Vijay's dancing skills.
