A.R.Rahman in two new Avatars this Year

A.R.Rahman's single Mental Manadhil' which he co-wrote with Manirathnam is playing on most people's lips we meet on the streets. Now after standing in as lyricist Rahman is writing a screenplay and also producing the untitled film in Hindi.
In an interview to a leading English daily Rahman said that he is writing and producing because he finds that today's Indian films are dictated by commercialism and he hopes to fill the void by his growth as an artiste. Rahman has been working on this project for the past four years. His upcoming film in tamil is 24' and is also doing internationally acclaimed Iranian director Majid Majili's Muhamed'.
