Rahman to be felicitated

Although winning awards and accolades has become a habit for Mr. A. R. Rahman, the winning of the Golden Globe, BAFTA and the Oscar awards for his wildly intuitive, highly experimental and marvelously evocative music is the ÂSlumdog Millionaire deserves special mention and appreciation.
The event will witness a host of luminaries from the music fraternity of the country.
The chief guest of the function will be ÂChevalier Dr. M. Balamurali Krishna. The other dignitaries whose presence deserves a mention are Sri. A.V.M. Saravanan, director Sri K. Balachander, Sri M.S. Viswanathan, Sri Illayaraja. This special program will be exclusively telecasted by Sun TV.
