When it comes to suspense thrillers or investigative movies in Mollywood, there are no other names than that of K Madhu and S N Swamy combo, which flashes in the minds of movie viewers in Kerala. They had been weaving such an incredible success in this genre that around ten super hits are in the list, from this immensely successful duo. Mammootty had been in most of their films as the investigative officer including CBI Diarykurippu and its three sequels, and few featured Suresh Gopi, as well. But in their new flick `Rahasya Police' that is getting ready for release, it is Jayaram who is coming up as the investigative officer. An action packed suspense thriller, the movie is expected to change the soft family man image of the actor.
`Rahasya Police' is rumoured to be inspired from Peter Seller's 'Pink Panther' series and will be an investigative comedy caper. The movie follows the happenings around the investigation of a murder case of Bhadra, a college girl who excelled in her studies as well as in her extra curricular activities. The highlight of this murder mystery will be the three different roles of Jayaram. He will be appearing as the investigative officer S I Rajan, and a local Goonda Chalai Mani, who is on a secret mission. The third role of the star is kept as a big secret.
Jayaram has three heroines in the film Samvrutha, Sindhu Menon and Nadodigal fame Ananya, apart from Mangala and Shivani who are there to increase the glamour quotient. Produced by veteran producer Siyad Kokker, this fun and suspense movie shot in a single schedule at Thodupuzha, will be the immediate release from Jayaram.
