After a long gap, the sought-after-villain of 90s Raghuvaran is back.

Raghuvaran plays the baddie in Sivappathigaram which would be directed by Parthiban Kanavu fame Karu Palaniappan.

Raghuvaran, who essayed the role of villain in several movies, disappeared from the screen a couple of years.

Having divorced from his wife Rohini, the actor reportedly immersed himself in spirituality.

Karu Palaniappan insisted that Raghuvaran should play the bad guy in his movie and narrated the script.

Apparently impressed, he accepted to be part of the movie.

At the muhurat of the movie held in Chennai on Wednesday, a trim-looking Raghuvaran was present exchanging pleasantries with the guest.

Sivappathigaram being produced by Radha Mohan features Vishal and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles.
