'Palasa 1978', an upcoming movie directed by Karuna Kumar, has got an interesting talent playing an author-backed role. It's Raghu Kunche, who will be seen as a don in the raw drama.

Talking about his tryst with action, Raghu Kunche says, "Although I acted in a few serials and 3-4 movies long ago, I didn't take acting seriously. Singing and music direction have always been my comfort zone. After many years, I got play a role in a movie. That's in 'Palasa 1978', of which I am also the music director. During the music sittings, the director told me that I should play a negative role in the movie."

The singer-musician adds, "I will be seen in a negative role in the movie. I have sported four looks - from the ages 30 to 70, starting from 1978 to 2018. The story has been written on the basis of true incidents and real characters. The film was shot in true locations. I have played a don in the movie and put on 9 kgs for the role. As for the quality of the film, everybody will talk about it once it releases. I have also completed dubbing for the role. I hope the audience will bless me."

Rakshit and Nakshatra are the film's lead pair.
