Raghavendra Rao offers 'gaddam' for a cause

K Raghavendra Rao on Monday morning had a 'Darshan' of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.  He was there to give away his beard to pray the Lord for special status to Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to the media after the 'Darshan', the 'Darshakendrudu' reportedly said that he fully supports the state government in his fight for the promised special status.  KRR added that he hopes to hear good news soon regarding the issue that affects five crore people of Andhra Pradesh.  

This is not the first time that KRR has offered his beard to the Lord.  He has done it many times in the last 40 years.  This time, however, it's about a burning issue that he has prayed the Lord.
