After four long years, Raghava Lawrence is back to entertain the fans with the family entertainer, 'Rudhran'. The official trailer of Rudhran was unveiled by ace directors Vetrimaaran and Lokesh Kanagaraj, who were the chief guests at the film's grand audio launch event in Chennai last night.

The more than 2.5-minute-long trailer falls under an old-school template. Not only the cuts but also the film feels like a formulaic masala movie with punch dialogues and over-the-top actions. Raghavan Lawrence delivered an all-around performance with dance moves, humour, mass, romance and actions. Sarathkumar is menacing as the film's powerful villain while Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead.

The trailer ends with a mighty faceoff scene between Lawrence and Sarath. Rudhran is all set to hit the screens on April 14. It looks like a fitting commercial entertainer for the summer. Kathiresan of Five Star Creations has produced and directed the film. GV Prakash Kumar composed the songs in the movie while Sam CS took care of the BGMs.

Rudhran stars Raghava Lawrence, Sarathkumar, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Redin Kingsley, Kaali Venkat, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Nasser, and others. The movie has a story & screenplay by KP Thirumaaran, cinematography by RD Rajasekhar, editing by Anthony, stunt choreography by Stun Siva and art direction by Raju P.
