Raghava Lawrence's family entertainer 'Rudhran' is gearing up for a grand release on April 14, Tamil New Year. This is the first Raghava Lawrence film to hit theatres since 2019. S Kathiresan of Five Star Creations has directed and produced this film with a story and screenplay by KP Thirumaaran.

The movie has cleared the censor process and the makers officially announced the same with a new poster. Rudhran is certified 'UA' by the censor board. As per sources, the film's runtime is around 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). The mass masala film has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead while Sarathkumar plays a menacing villain.

Shyam Prasad, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Kaali Venkat, Nassar, Sachu, M Kamaraj and others play supporting roles in this film. GV Prakash composed the songs while Sam CS scored BGMs. The technical team includes RD Rajasekhar as the cinematographer and Anthony as the editor. Rudhran will be released in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
