'Shivalinga' retains the top position

Veteran director P.Vasu's 'Shivalinga' starring Raghava Lawrence, Ritika Singh and Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu, released for the Tamil New Year weekend and took a fantastic opening among the festival releases.

Now the film has held the same vigour in its second weekend also. In Chennai Box office the film has collected Rs.57,89,480 and stays at no.1 in the Top 10 ranking. The total collections of the film in Chennai has come close to Rs.2 crores (Rs.1,97,30,320).

The film packaged as a neat commercial family entertainer, is expected to do well in the coming weekdays also due to the summer holiday season.

Vasu has indeed made a strong comeback to Kollwyood with 'Shivainga'.
