The horror genre that was forgotten after the 80s was revived by Raghava Lawrence in the year 2007 with his super hit 'Muni' starring Rajkiran which opened the doors for more scary movies to rule Kollywood for the next ten years. The dance choreographer turned actor/director himself tasted huge success with its sequels 'Muni 2 - Kanchana' and 'Kanchana 2 - Ganga'.

Raghava Lawrence has been penning the script for 'Muni 4/Kanchana 3' and is expected to start shooting from next month. Like how Rajkiran, Sarathkumar and Nithya Menen played the title roles in the previous films this one too will have a major hero or heroine alongside, Raghava Lawrence and franchise regulars Kovai Sarala, Sreeman, Manobala and Divyadarshini. An official announcement is expected pretty soon.
