Dance choregrapher turned actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence is one of the most bankable stars in Kollywood especially his 'Kanchana' horror comedy series bringing in big bucks at the box office. The talented celebrity is also known for his philantropic activities beyond his means earning love and respect from fans and the public.
Raghava Lawrence has shared a photo of his mother Kanmani receiving an international award and wrote on Twitter "It is a great honour for me to receive the doctorate award for social service. Heartfelt thanks to International Anti- corruption and Human Rights Council for honouring me with this award. It’s special to me because my mother received this award on behalf of me."
The multifaceted star is running a trust in his mother's name and is taking care of hundreds of chidren who have been orphaned. He also donates generously, almost the double and even triple of the contributions of much bigger stars when it comes to natural calamities and disasters.
Raghava Lawrence has completed shooting for his new movie 'Rudhran' directed by Five Star Kathiresan and is gearing up to shoot 'Chandramukhi 2' directed by P. Vasu and 'Adhigaaram' written by Vetrimaaran. He is also starring in a new movie directed by K.S. Ravikumar in which his younger brother Elvin is making his debut as hero.
