Actor Raghava Lawrence who has been supporting the students and youngsters agitation at Chennai Marina has now addressed the crowd at Marina with the permission of Police.

In his speech Lawrence requested the protesters to disperse as Government has passed an ordinance to conduct Jallikattu.

However the entire Chennai city is gripped in a tense situation till now. People are protesting in various streets and roads blocking he entire traffic. Some bikes and vehicles were torched in certain places.

While answering the questions of media persons at Marina, Lawrence alleged that unwanted people and organisations with ulterior motives have entered and they are responsible for untoward incidents happening in the city today.

Lawrence reiterated that the protest was peaceful as long as it was being spearheaded by students and youngsters and now it has gone out of their hands and turned violent.
