Only recently actor-director Raghava Lawrence donated the huge sum of Rs. 1 Crore to the social service organization named after Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam`s Green Movement.

It is a known fact that the vegetables that we consume consist a high percentage of pesticides which is very harmful to us. Students of Anna University are involved in Nature Farming on a one acre land situated on the premises of an Engineering college in Guindy to drive home the fact that people should return to nature farming. Raghava Lawrence has donated a sum of Rs. 2,50,000 to encourage the students which was well appreciated by all concerned.
