Raghava Lawrence has been embroiled in controversies over the past few days after he stated at the 'Darbar' audio launch event that he used to throw cow dung on Kamal Haasan movie posters to show his love for Rajini in his younger days. After Kamal fans showed their dissent on social media Lawrence tried to pacify them by trying to explain that he did not mean any offense but since they were not convinced he met the legendary actor and politician in his house and the photos diffused the situation a bit.
Similarly, Raghava came under severe criticism from Seeman and his "Naam Thamizhar" followers for his veiled potshots at them and a war of words was going on between the two personalities. Now Lawrence has announced that he has been hurt by the scathing attacks from the other side because they are not only targetting him but also his parents.
Raghava has apparently started a non-political social service organization "Anbhuthaan Thamizh" which would strive to project to the world the culture, heritage, and history of Tamil. He adds in his statement that following the Thirukkural he will do good to Seeman's group too and pray for them and their family's wellbeing.
