Actor and Director Raghava Lawrence has been known for his helping tendency and he has contributed a lot for the welfare of children and elderly people, besides also running a trust which takes care of the needs of many children. The actor also provides opportunity for physically challenged artists in his movies regularly.
Now yet another kind act of the actor has come to light. Social activist Ganesan(70) has been running a free car service with which he has been serving people with emergency and drives them to any location in Tamil Nadu. He has helped more than 2000 pregnant women and 4000 injured in accidents.
He has been awarded by many organizations, and in Gaja cyclone his house was destroyed, and was leading a troubled life. Raghava Lawrence, who had been to Alangudi where Ganesan lives, got to know of his situation and immediately decided to construct a house for Ganesan worth 10 lakhs. Recently the house construction was completed and Lawrence handed over the key to Ganesan and this generous act of Lawrence was praised by the people of the village.
