A graduate in science with fashion designing this beauty made her first appearance in television serial ‘Mangaluru Hudgi Hubli Hudga’. Radhika Rao sure to create another craze was in that particular TV serial for one and half years as Amoolya character speaking the Mangaluru accent Kannada. It was in Colors Kannada Radhika Rao given striking performance. With support of family members she accepted her first Tulu film ‘Esaa’ and now from Dakshin Kannada producer new film in Kannada ‘Lungi’ she is one of the heroines with Ahalya. Pranav Hegde is the debut hero of this ‘Khara Entertainment’ cinema.

Aware of Yakshagana form of art Radhika Rao is in a traditional role in her debut Kannada film.  ‘Lungi’ with caption ‘Priti Soundarya Samskrithi’ as caption has cinematography from Rijo P John.
