Radhika Madan on working with Vishal Bhardwaj and his son Aasmaan Bhardwaj

One of the most promising young actors of Bollywood, Radhika Madan was recently seen in Aasmaan Bhardwaj's directorial debut 'Kuttey'. She has previously worked with Aasmaan's father Vishal Bhardwaj in the film 'Pataakha' which marked her Bollywood debut. In a recent conversation with Mid-Day, Radhika opened up about working with Bhardwaj father-son duo and shared how she got her role in 'Kuttey'.

When asked what attracted her towards the role, Radhika laughed and said, "Her unpredictability." She added, "In Vishal ji's world, the female characters are always well-written, and often quirkier than their male counterparts. When he called me to offer the role, he said, "I have two favourite characters in this film. One is Tabu's, and the other is yours."

'Kuttey' also starred Naseeruddin Shah, Konkana Sen Sharma, Arjun Kapoor and Kumud Mishra among others and it was a great creative and learning experience for Radhika to work alongside them. Talking about Aasmaan, the actress said, "Aasmaan is ambitious and motivated. He takes risky shots, is clear about his vision and is certain that he will be able to achieve it. Vishal ji has experience, and knows how each shot will come out differently from what is in one*s mind. He has thehraav, which makes you feel at ease."
