Veteran actress Radhika had made her debut in films in the 1978 movie Kizhakke Pogum Rail directed by legendary director Bharathiraja where she played a character named Panjali, and this year the actress completes 42 years in the film industry.
Now director Bharathiraja has posted a heartwarming message about her film journey, sharing a photo of him with Radhika. He tweeted "My dearest Tamil people, I got a 16 year old child named Panjali onboard kizhakke Pogum rail, and waved the flag for her travel, it's been 42 years and the journey hasn't stopped yet. There's no limit to the milky way".
Radhika responded to her mentor's tweet, as she posted "Can it get better than this,I am who I am , who I am only because of you. Your blessings is what keeps me going. In this male dominated bastion and contemporaries who don’t celebrate a woman’s achievements your words rises above the ordinary ... as always????".
