Radhika Apte turns nostalgic this Gudi Padwa

Talented beauty Radhika Apte is back in the city, just in time to bring in the occasion of Gudi Padwa. For the uninitiated, Gudi Padwa marks to be the beginning of a New Year for Hindus. On this occasion Radhika reminisces of celebrating Gudi Padwa as a child.

Sharing fond memories of Gudi Padwa celebrations as a child Radhika revealed, "My parents are always at work and on Gudi Padwa we all used to be home and my mum would put the Gudi out in the terrace even before we woke up. The thought in my head used to be to guess the colour of cloth she has used that year."

The actress who has been living in Mumbai away from her parents who reside in Pune plans to celebrate the day the traditional way. "Food and Schedule wise - Puranpoli is one of my favourite dishes. So, I am hoping my mom sends some this time," shared Radhika.

The actress brings in the New Year with a lot of aspirations, main being work. Radhika giving further insights says, "To keep doing work that I believe in and give my 100% to what i choose to do."

Speaking about her career she said, "I have no set pattern for my career, just going with the flow."

The year will feature Radhika Apte in two distinct films. She is currently gearing up for her upcoming film, 'Phobia' which is a psychological thriller. The actress is also to be seen opposite Southern Superstar Rajinikanth in his next 'Kabali'.
