Radhika Apte has received critical acclaim for her performances in her previous films and now is exhilarated with the signing of a movie in which she will be starring opposite the iconic actor, Rajnikanth.

Radhika is the fourth Bollywood actress to be signed opposite the Indian superstar Rajnikanth. Before this, we have seen top performers; Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha working opposite the superstar. And now it is Radhika Apte who will be seen sharing screen space with him.

The actress last seen in the short film, Ahalya for which she received immense appreciation, seems to have a performance-oriented role in this film.

Radhika shares, "I think it`s a rare opportunity. It`s not something you get often. Usually, there is huge competition, too, for something like this. So, I feel fortunate".
