In the course of an interaction with the media, the journo in question reportedly asked if "creating such controversies and doing bold scenes was necessary to become successful." This irked Radhika, who gave a fitting reply.

"My friend, sorry that your question is very ridiculous. Controversies are made by people like you. You saw the clip? You shared with other people, so you made the controversy. As an artist, if I am required to do a certain job then I will do it. If you get out of your cocoon and look at the world cinema and what people are doing abroad and that too successfully, then you would have not probably asked this question."

The 'Kabali' girl received a thunderous applause from the other journalists when she said, "I am not ashamed of anything.
