The summer has set in strongly and a few of the Kannada artists have come forward to give attention to birds and pet animals with water and food.
 
Actress Radhika Pandit, Aindrita Ray, Diganth and a few others are offering the main requirement of water on the terrace and other places near their houses and for birds the required food is also spread to meet the possible requirement.
 
The prominent actors have also urged the general public to follow it so that the birds and animals get a right treatment from starvation.
 
Diganth and Aindrita Ray have gone a step ahead in keeping mud pots with water at some of the localities to fill water for the needy stray animals and birds.
