SS Thaman has questioned the wisdom of film critics while speaking at a presser alongside 'Radhe Shyam' director Radha Krishna Kumar on Saturday. He said that he wants to know what the term 'slow-paced' means in the context of a film like 'Radhe Shyam'.

"Nowadays, everyone is a critic. Someone commented that the film has got lags. I want to know if he teaches others how to make films," Thaman, who has composed the BGM of the Prabhas-Pooja Hegde movie, said.
Thaman was roped in to do the job only in January this year. He was apparently given short notice by UV Creations for the BGM. "UV Creations gave me a rebirth in the movie industry by offering me 'Bhaagamathie' when my career was in a low phase. Because of that film, I bagged 'Toli Prema'. And because of 'Toli Prema', I bagged 'Aravindha Sametha'. You all know how my journey has been since 'Aravindha Sametha'," Thaman said.
