Veteran actor Radharavi had been known for his terrific performances on screen as well as his impeccable villainy, and the actor is still active in films, having acted in few movies like Manithan, Ratsasan etc in recent years. Now the on screen villain has hit news for his off screen villainy as well.

Earlier accused by many including singer Chinmayi, the actor had recently spoken ill of Nayanthara in the trailer launch event of her movie Koaliyuthir Kaalam, and his distasteful comments on her and womenfolk lead to angry reactions from the industry. These reactions also lead to the DMK party suspending him from the party for behaving in a manner that spoils the reputation of the party.

Following these developments, actor Radharavi has said that if the party is impacted by him, he will quit the party. He said "We all belong to the film fraternity, and I did not make the comment targeting anyone in particular. I learnt that Nayanthara had felt bad hearing my comment, and I feel the same as well. I will express my apologies to Nayanthara when I meet her, and I will prove her that I did not speak of her".
