After days of publicity that Racha will be released in a grand style in Kurnool on March 4, the makers of Raccha sprang up a surprise, saying the release date is 9th. The function will be held in Hyderabad.

The much-publicised event was to be held at a college ground in Kurnool's STBC grounds. Barring the date and venue, no other change is expected to take place. The event will be attended by director Shankar and Power Star Pawan Kalyan as announced earlier.

The film is fast completing, together with the post-production works. Since the film's music is by Mani Sharma, the audience are expecting it to be somewhat different. It has been the biggest film in Mani's kitty in years.
