Evergreen actress Trisha's career graph as zoomed back to the top after the historic blockbuster hit 'Ponniyin Selvan' directed by Mani Ratnam. Now the trailer of her next release this year, 'Raangi' has dropped showing her in a never before seen mass avatar.
The 'Raangi' trailer suggests that Trisha's no nonsense tomboyish character gets embroiled in a terrorist situation in an Arab country. She not only has to deal with the terrorists but also the male chauvenism in the police department and elsewhere. An example of the mass punch lines that Trish mouths are "To make a woman scream its not enough to be a man but you have to possess extra in the head and below". In another instance before kicking a man under his belley Trisha asks "If everyone are the kings of this country why should the kings ask everything humbly".
The action packed 'Raangi' trailer showcases another facet of Trisha where she performs some cool stunts as well. The film is written and produced by A.R. Murugadoss and marks the comeback of director M. Saravanan of 'Engeyum Eppodhum' fame after a long gap. The film has music by Sathya C and is produced on a grand scale by Subaskaran under his banner Lyca Productions. The film is releasing worldwide on December 30th worldwide.
