R P Patnaik has gone out of circulation for some time now. Blame it on the success of his contemporaries or his deflection into direction, his career graph was not looking upwards for some time.

But now, Patnaik has lots to smile about. For one, he has composed the music for Jagapati Babu’s forthcoming film Swagatam.

Given that the film is already being considered to be the most promising from among the line-up of releases early next year, music might play a crucial role in ensuring its success.

So, all eyes are on Patnaik. Then, he will also be indulging in his new-found love, direction, with the film Andamaina Manasulu.

A public function will be held in Vizag on December 27.

The cast comprises newcomers and the music is naturally composed by R P Patnaik.
