The last one survived in the family of RNR sons – RN Sudarahan actor of Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam films died after a brief illness at Sagar Appolo Hospital on Banneraghatta road on Friday.

The 78 years actor RN Sudarahan leaves behind his actress wife Shylasri and the cremation was held at Harischandra Ghat in Bengaluru on Friday evening.

Starting his career at the age of 21 RN Sudarshan has made debut as hero in ‘Vijayanagarada Veeraputra’ of his father R Nagendra Rao direction. RN Sudardhan brothers were RN Jayagopal and RN Krishna Prasad both are not living today.

With top films like Kadina Rahasya, Suvarana Bhoomi, Kallara Kalla, Naguva Hoovu, Vagdaana, Malathi Madhava, RN Sudarshan films in Tamil such as Velai Karan, Nayagan, Sandippu, Punnagai Mannan, Pagadai Panirendu, In Malayalam Paarijatam, Jackpot, in Telugu Maya Machchindra, My Dear Bootham he was notably seen.

RN Sudarshan last film was ‘Super’ as Upendra father. Actor of over 250 films son of R Nagendr Rao one of the founding pillars of Kannada filmdom was known for his film ‘Vijayanagarada Veera Putra’ – remember the song Apara Keerthi Galisi Merava Bhavya naididu….R N Sudarshan on a horse ride ever green song sung by PB Srinivos.

RN Sudarshan wife Shylasri was air hostess made debut from Sandhya Raga classic film. Naguva Hoovu is the film RN Sudarshan produced in which Shylasri was the heroine.

RNR and his sons RN Jayagopal, RN Krishnaprasad and RN Sudarshan worked together in the past. The annual Dr Rajakumar award for 2009 – 2010 was bestowed on RN Sudarshan.
