Popular comedian R. J. Balaji has stated that Superstar Rajinikanth cannot change the plight of Tamil people or the state even if he enters politics. In a televised interview Balaji has said that from his childhood he is a diehard fan of Thalaivar and has seen all his films first day first show. In his mind he has always felt that Rajini is a good man and thought that he should have played the lead role in Mudhalvan`.

Balaji further added that after hearing the songs of Baba` he felt Rajini would enter politics and do good for people but he has waited for twenty five years and the superstar has not kept his word. The Kaatru Veliyidai` star feels that Rajini should stick to acting and lead a happy life as he cannot find much success in politics. He finished off by saying that he will continue to watch first day first show of any Rajini movie that releases in the future.
