In this age of social media, it has become extremely difficult for celebrities to maintain their privacy. They always have paparazzi running behind them and cameras being shoved into their faces, all trying a get headline out of them. However, things get exponentially worse for celebs when their kids are also dragged into this mess. Actress Anushka Sharma recently took to her Instagram stories to thank media for not publishing her daughter Vamika's pics anywhere.
The actress also urged people who posted Vamika's pics to avoid doing so. She wrote, "We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward."
Anushka further added, "We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older, we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice (retrain) in the matter. A special thank you to fan clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images. It was kind and highly mature of you."
Anushka and her husband Virat Kohli always wanted to raise their child away from the public eye in order to give her a normal childhood. They became parents to a baby girl in January this year.
