Earlier today, Pawan Kalyan cast his vote in Vijayawada. As soon as he reached the polling booth, the Jana Sena chief's security guards reportedly pushed around the voters who had been standing in the queue. This caused anger among some voters, especially women.
Following criticism of Pawan, director Maruthi has jumped to Power Star's defence. "Please don't try to sensationalize things. The crowds were huge at the booth. Pawan Kalyan garu standing in the queue would have created more ruckus. At least LISTEN PROPERLY to what some voters at the booth had to say," the 'Mahanubhavudu' director said.
Meanwhile, some stray incidents of clashes between TDP and YSRCP activists have been reported in parts of Andhra Pradesh.
