A few weeks back Indiaglitz reported that the critically acclaimed Bollywood film Queen will be remade in Tamil and Telugu quoting the director of the film Vikas Bahl who confirmed that his film is going to be remade and he will be creatively associated with the remake versions.
Now it has been confirmed that the woman centric film starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role will be remade not only Tamil and Telugu but also in Kannada and Malayalam. Sources reveal that the remake rights of the film in all four South Indian languages have purchased by actor-director-producer Thiaygarajan, the father of actor Prashanth. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the producers of the original version, have confirmed this through an official press statement.
The names of Nayanthara, Trisha, Hansika, Parvathi Menon, Lakshmi Meon. Sruthi and Taapsee are reportedly being considered to reprise Kangana Ranaut in the remake versions. We will have to wait for some time to know who is most lucky among the lot.
