Gautham Menon's latest release 'Enai Noki Paayum Thotta' starring Dhanush and Megha Akash is running successfully in theaters after a three-year struggle behind the scenes.  The classic director's next is the Jayalalitha biopic web series 'Queen' starring Ramya Krishnan as the iconic iron lady of Tamil Nadu and Indian politics.  MX Player the streaming platform has unveiled a small teaser ahead of the trailer release on December 5th.

The 'Queen' teaser does not give much away except quick flashing montages of Jayalalitha as a state topper in school, Superstar herione at 18 and the state's youngest chief minister.  The final shot shows Ramya Krishnan as JJ addressing a crowd and with only her back shown has brought to life the leader adding a strong authenticity to the frames beyond the crisp photography and setting. 

'Queen' is jointly directed by Gautham Menon and Prasath Murugesan and the rest of the cast details will be known once the full trailer is out.  It is worth mentioning that at least two more Jayalalitha biopics are being made simultaneously namely 'Thalaivi' starring Kangana Ranaut directed by Vijay and 'The Iron Lady' starring Nithya Menen.
