Director Vikas Bahl, who is helming the Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Queen’, grew up in Delhi and as such, has fond memories of the Capital, which reportedly prompted him to shoot at locations in Delhi that he had frequented during his youth.

A source said, "Vikas was quite keen about shooting at particular Delhi locations like Lajpat Nagar, Alaknanda Market, Delhi Haat, Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant, Saket, Delhi University- North Campus and other such places as they have been a part of his growing up years and he was quite nostalgic about the locations."

Confirming the news said the director, "I have fond memories of Delhi and shot at all the locations that a common man would visit...we’ve tried to capture the essence and flavour of the city".

Viacom Motion Pictures & Phantom Films’ ‘Queen’ directed by Vikas Bahl is scheduled to release 28th February 2014.
