Following a meeting between Tamil film producers and Qube yesterday which didn't help any positive move, Bharathiraja of Tamil film active producers association TFAPA announced that no new Tamil films will be released.
Qube condemned Bharathiraja's announcement saying that it'll affect theater owners and now has announced a 100% waiver of Virtual Print Fee (VPF) for November 2020 so that all filmmakers can release their new movies after lockdown.
Qube has made the initiative to support stakeholders of the industry during this revival phase and has taken into consideration the Diwali festival coming on November 14. This announcement from Qube has made theater owners happy and audiences are expecting new movies to release for Diwali.
