Jatin Lalit have more than often come up with pleasant melodious score. Though they are involved with far fewer projects now than in the 90s, they still never fail to deliver whenever roped in for a movie.

Chalte Chalte, Hum Tum and to some extent Haasil and Rok Sako To Rok Lo have all boasted of popular songs.

Now they bring to music lovers another melody soaked love album 'Pyaar Mein Twist' that stars Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in principal roles along with Sameer Dattani, Soha Ali Khan, Vikas Bhalla, Deepshikha and Farida Jalal.

Sameer writes sweet and simple lyrics for PMT while Hriday Shetty directs the movie.

1) Pal Tham Gaya [Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik]

The opening song is as sober, sweet and meaningful as a love song can get. Immensely likeable, it is primarily due to inimitable rendition by Abhijeet that takes the song to greater heights. Sameer's lyrics catch the mood of a middle aged couple getting close to each other and depict their feelings for each other quite well. The song is vintage Jatin Lalit and has a great effect when heard in the background along with the movie's narration. That's the reason why one doesn't mind the song appearing multiple number of times in the movie.

2) Do Dil [Kumar Sanu, Shreya Ghoshal]

A love duet comes up next in the shape of 'Do Dil', yet another likeable duet by Kumar Sanu and Shreya Ghoshal. The song again belongs to the Jatin Lalit school of music and carries on the similar style of music that have made the duo so popular since they first started composing. The song again relies on simplicity and makes for a melodious hearing. Both Kumar Sanu and Shreya Ghoshal sing the song with complete conviction and present music lovers a track that they can find themselves humming along after a first couple of hearings itself. 'Do Dil' is second good song in succession.

3) Ladki Chahe Jo Bole [Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan]

A song belonging to the 'ched-chad' genre, 'Ladki Chahe Jo Bole' right away reminds of 'Ladki Kyun' [Hum Tum] after the first note itself. Just like the latter number, even this take on 'girls and boys' is quite enjoyable all due to team effort of composer, lyricist and singers that works quite well. Its a pity that such a beautiful and lively youthful number hasn't been publicized at all till now, even when the movie has already released. The song deserves to be heard by many and should be soon on air; otherwise it may just go unnoticed.

4) Khullam Khulla [Babul Supriyo, Vinod Rathod]

The best is reserved for the end with the modern day version of the hit track 'Khullam Khulla' [from 'Khel Khel Mein] coming up next. Both Babul Supriyo and Vinod Rathod do a perfect take on the classic foot tapping love song originally picturised on Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh and come up with a great homage to the original love song. When seen on big screen, the track is a riot, what with Rishi Kapoor seen in his vintage lover boy dancing act. The song is such that it never fails to bring a smile on your face every time it is played.

Pyaar Mein Twist is a shot and sweet compilation of love songs that never lets the boredom set in. The makers haven't added any unwanted frills by means of item songs or any sad tracks. Jatin Lalit deliver once again and justify the faith shown in them for this sweet little love story.
