Nagesh Kukunoor's Iqbal is soon becoming a movie that is being screened for any and every special event. Right from the time when it held special screenings to premiers prior to its releaser till date, it has been in news for all the RIGHT reasons!

PVR Cinemas continued this trend with a special screening of IQBAL at PVR Plaza on 14th Nov'05. Reason? Well you guessed it right! It was on the occasion of Children's day. And what better way to motivate and inspire children than to screen 'Iqbal'!!

But one may ask, "So what's the difference? Even schools host such events on a regular basis?"

Well, the difference here was that PVR Cinemas celebrated the spirit of children's day, for "not so privileged kids" at the special screening of IQBAL at PVR Plaza, New Delhi.

As a socially responsible corporate entity, PVR on the occasion of Children's Day, created a remembrance for children from PVR's Housekeeping Attendants, Projectionists, Electricians, with the movie IQBAL.

The children from the NGO "Kutumb Foundation" also were an intrinsic part of the event, invited specially by PVR, to celebrate children's day.

A heart warming gesture indeed, this continues to keep PVR as a front runner in the entertainment world!
