If there was any proof needed for you to believe that director Krishna Vamsi is up for something exalting in 'Rangamarthanda', it is here. The song 'Puvvai Virise Pranam' is steeped in philosophical language and themes. Sung by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja himself, this is one of the finest and last songs written by the Late Sirivennela Sitaramasastry.

Shot on Prakash Raj (who plays a theatre artist in the movie), Ramya Krishnan, Brahmanandam (as the male protagonist's all-weather friend) and others, the song's language is borrowed from the beats associated with dramas and plays.

Prakash Raj and his onscreen wife look expressive and emotional in the song. The legendary comedian Brahmi has got a substantial and semi-serious part in the film.

Produced by Raja Shyamala Entertainments and Housefull Movies, the film also stars Anasuya Bharadwaj, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Rahul Sipligunj, Shivathmika Rajashekar, and Ali Reza. Produced by Kalipu Madhu and S Venkat Reddy, its cinematography is done by Raj K Nalli.

The film will hit the screens in March.
