Krishna Vamsi's 'Rangamarthanda' is gearing up for a theatrical release soon. The news is that a reprised version of the song 'Puvvai Virise Pranam' is out.
Maestro Ilaiyaraaja's rendition and Sirivennela Sitaramasastry's situational lyrics have received a fillip in the form of visuals. We see Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishnan in distress, while Anasuya Bharadwaj and Aadarsh Balakrishnan seem to have got self-centered roles.
It seems 'reprised version', as an idea, is going to take off in Telugu cinema. The idea adds to the popularity of a good song and, more importantly, it establishes the nature of the story/equations between different characters.
The legendary comedian Brahmanandam has got a substantial and semi-serious part in the film. Produced by Raja Shyamala Entertainments and Housefull Movies, the film also stars Rahul Sipligunj, Shivathmika Rajashekar, and Ali Reza. Produced by Kalipu Madhu and S Venkat Reddy, its cinematography is done by Raj K Nalli.
