"For the last one year patience has been my best friend. Time can move along very slowly but it picks up eventually and at the right time." These are the words of Akhil Akkineni, who sounds pretty optimistic and relieved more than a year after his debut film sank without leaving a trace at the BO.

Why wouldn't he feel buoyant when he is doing a film with the maker of such entertainers like '13B', 'Ishq', 'Manam' and '24'? Not only has the film presumably got a very interesting story line (it's reported that it's about inter-caste marriage alliance and more), but it's also a "new age stuff", to quote the actor.

While Akhil is all set to go with this movie, he has an as yet unofficial project with Surender Reddy lined up for next year.
