At the pre-release event of 'Pushpaka Vimanam', producer Vijay Deverakonda made a strong case for his movie, which is headlined by his brother and 'Middle Class Melodies' actor Anand Deverakonda. In his 15-minute speech, the 'Rowdy' star hit the right notes by talking about what it takes to produce a movie for someone who is an actor like him.

The 'Liger' actor raised a toast for director Srujan, whom he has known since 2013. Calling him an excellent narrator, Vijay described the filmmaker as the biggest strength of 'Pushpaka Vimanam'. Then comes his brother, who, despite being a fledgling actor, didn't mind playing a married man and a government school teacher at that.
"When the script came our way, I wondered if the character suits Anand. But he has nailed it, I must say," Vijay said with a hint of glee. He was all praise for the cast of the movie, especially Saanve Megghana, Sunil, and Naresh. The technical team came in for praise, especially background music composer Mark K Robin.
When it was his turn, Anand said that 'PV' delivers a message subtly. While the theme of a newly-married man finding his wife has eloped is dark, the film narrates the story with thrills and comedy. Anand's speech was laced with emotions, as he referred to his father's unfulfilled dream of becoming an actor. The dream was realized by Vijay, who would remove the obstacles on the path of Anand.
